How Much do we Offset?
When you fly, you're contributing to about 1/2 a metric ton (1 Ton = 2 204 LBS) of Carbon per domestic flight. This varies from shorter flights to longer transcontinental flights; however Green Gas will off set 1/2 metric ton for each domestic flight in the US regardless of the distance to make sure that your flight is always Carbon Neutral. If you are taking an international flight we'll double the offset to 1 Metric Ton to make up for the longer flight.
